In the midst of various efforts to maintain environmental sustainability, I believe that education plays a very vital role, especially in preparing future generations to become world citizens who are aware of the importance of protecting our earth.
English Language Teaching (ELT) has long been a rapidly growing and global field of education. However, the integration of environmental education in ELT, or what is often referred to as Eco-ELT, is a relatively new but very promising concept. This book not only presents the basic theories and concepts regarding Eco-ELT, but also provides an overview of how these concepts are applied.
