This book is designed to assist students in developing their speaking skills through three text types: descriptive, recount, and procedural. It is systematically arranged using the genre-based approach, which incorporates the four stages of the teaching and learning cycle: building knowledge of the text, modeling the text, joint construction, and independent construction. Each stage is designed to progressively develop students’ understanding and ability to produce spoken texts, guiding them from initial exposure to independent performance.
