This book teaches English writing skills. Writing ability is a competence that  English students must possess. This book has three units that explain description, procedure, and recount texts. These three texts are basic genres in scientific writing that can be combined into larger genres such as exposition and discussion.

In addition to the text structure, the book also provides the characteristics and linguistic structures of the three genres discussed. After completing this book, students are expected to be adept in writing description, procedure, and recount texts using the appropriate linguistic structure.
